         Looking to the future of IT, efficient training methods are adopted by the faculty apart from the regular lecturers, which includes

• Seminars on emerging IT trends by eminent personalities of the industry
• Guidance for conducting and participating in inter-collegiate IT festivals and outreach programmes.
• Periodic industrial visits
• Group discussions and debates on current affairs
• Model Aptitude Tests to make them fit for company recruitments.

ü         According to the interest of students, they are provided with training and exposure to certificate courses of foreign languages like German.

ü         Certificate courses like MCP, LINUX etc are provided as part of tie-ups with various leading IT firms.

Ø           Qualified Faculties

Members of faculty of Computer Science department bring with them a wide array of experience from their respective fields. Their extensive knowledge and advanced education ensure quality training through interactive teaching and brings in real life experience into class room.

Ø           Internal Assessment Tests

                       To keep abreast of the academic growth of the students Internal Assessment Tests are conducted monthly or at frequent intervals. Students are thus evaluated on their academic performance and support programmes are implemented as per the requirements. Progress Reports are prepared and the students are instructed to get it endorsed by their parents, so that the parents are continuously informed about the progress of their children.

Ø           Seminars

               Seminars are common to most of the courses. Students have to conduct seminars on all the subjects of the semester. This training to prepare and present a seminar on a particular theme before the entire class prepares the students to study new topics, prepare a class systematically and present it in English before an audience.

Ø           Assignment

             This is yet another training programme for all the students. Topics are allotted to small groups or individually and they have to prepare scientifically a paper on that particular topic. It has to be presented to the staff on the prescribed dates. This gives the students opportunity for capacity building for preparing scientific papers on different topics and to write them down in good language and in good format.

Ø           Foreign Language

                       Knowledge of foreign language will be an additional qualification for future placements. Realizing this fact we conduct classes for German language. We have a good Germany returned Faculty with in-depth proficiency in German language. The course is a certification course.

Ø           Industry Visits

                       As part of the study and future placements, Industry visits are conducted. Industrial visits are organized every year and students are taken to leading organizations in order to provide them practical exposure.

Ø           Enrichment Programmes

         Classes on Value Education, Carrier Guidance, Personality Development etc are given to the students for their holistic development. Eminent personalities from various institutions and industry-experienced professionals are invited frequently to provide in-depth knowledge to the students.

Ø           Tutorial & Counseling

           Periodical counseling are conducted to categorize the students based on their performance and to provide individual attention.

Ø           Extra curricular activities

         The Department (CS) association frequently organizes extra-curricular activities like Group discussion, Quiz, and various other competitions.

Ø           Intrafest

                     Intrafest, an Intracollegiate meet is organized every year to create an awareness about the recent happenings in the computer era among the students of other departments.

           Apart from the main project, the students are encouraged to undergo mini projects during their course of study under the guidance of a faculty.

                     Requirement of Exams and Attendance

Ø           Attendance

                 A Candidate will be permitted to appear for the University examinations if he/she secures not less than 75% of attendance in the number of working days during the semester and that the candidates character has been satisfactory.

Ø           Parent-Teacher Association

               The college encourages constant association with the parents of students so that parents are well aware of their wards in the overall performance of the class and in the examination
