Department of History

Department of History started functioning under the leadership of a dynamic person, Miss. Annamma Pothen right from the establishment of the College in 1955.  It is a matter of pride that His Excellency Dr. Kuriakose Kunnacherry, Arch Bishop of Kottayam Diocese served in the department of History as a lecturer from 1966 to 1968.

Sr. Mary Savio, our third principal who had a long innings of 26 years of service as the head of B.C.M. College belonged to the department of History.
