CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES |

The students also take part in various literary, cultural and arts competitions conducted by other educational institutions in Kottayam. The teachers actively encourage them to polish their skills and participate in all these items. The achievements of our students are many and varied. Sweetha Saji of II DC Literature was elected as the college magazine editor. She also passed 6th grade in vocals(singing-western) with merit from Trinity College of Music,London. |

The Literature association came out first in the literary fest conducted by CMS college. And brought the coveted Prof. Bragshaw Memorial trophy to the department. |
This year, we had a hatrick victory when the association won the prizes for first in literary competition, overall championship and the best association. |

Our students are usually chosen by the media to take part in discussions related to social and political issues. Some of our students brought out a musical CD which was prominently featured in the YUVA page of Malayala Manorama. |
The teachers are all academically oriented and take part in seminars, conferences, orientation programmes, refresher courses and other workshops conducted by the UGC in MG University or other Universities. The knowledge gained in these sessions is very valuable and they willingly impart it to their students. As the motto of the college goes, we too believe in wisdom and grace and carving socially, emotionally, educationally and culturally perfect young women from our student community. |
