In addition to the common facilities available in the college, department of Social Work has got the following additional facilities to help the students in their academic and non-academic activities.

Placement Cell
To address the career concerns of the outgoing students, the department operates a placement cell co-ordinated by a faculty member, in order to facilitate suitable job placements for students who have completed their training. The cell initiates efforts and makes all necessary arrangements to ensure that students get an opportunity to meet and interact with prospective employers in the field of social work, at the campus. The cell focuses on dissemination of information and marketing of graduates to suitable agencies and organizations both within and outside the state.

Mentoring Programme

To strike the right balance between professional and personal self, it is imperative to address and resolve issues, which could otherwise impede the development of students into 'effective professionals'. To achieve this, the department has initiated a 'Mentoring Programme' wherein students can approach a faculty member of their choice for guidance and support in resolving issues and to maximize their potential.

Department Reference Wing

The college library has got more than 47000 books . In addition to this, the department maintains a separate reference wing with more than 900 books, magazines and journals.

Department Computer Cell

The department maintains a separate computer cell which provide computer facilities to the students of   Social Work department.
