EXPLORING FOR A "KARUNA EFFECT"

Physics association conducts several activities throughout the year, in which the total enhancement of the students as well as each and every person is ensured. The great services rendered by this department in the last 54 years in the field of scientific achievements and in moulding a bright future for the students had made the department renowned. Through extension activities and science familiarization programs this department could bring the new developments in the field of Physics to the common man to improve his life situations. Our association is functioning actively and it received the 'Best Association Award' of the college for several times in the recent years.

An Alumni meeting was held on September 8th 2007 in which retired staffs, a few of the first batch students and class toppers in the various years were honoured.
An year-long programmes consisting of seminars, workshops, Science exhibition and an inter -collegiate Quiz competition in Physics were conducted in connection with the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
A Golden Jubilee souvenir was released by Mar Mathew Moolakkatt on this occasion.
